The Windows app
The installer will be available here shortly. Until then, Tailwind Trader runs in your browser with the same account: open the browser version.

After installing
- Start Tailwind Trader. It sits in the notification area, next to the clock.
- Sign in with the e-mail address and password of your account — the same ones you use on the account page and in the browser.
- Type a ticker, or press Ctrl + ^ while a chart window is in front — the app reads the symbol out of the window title, it never clicks anything for you.
If Windows or your virus scanner objects
It may. The app is built with PyInstaller, and several scanners treat anything packed that way as suspicious until enough people have installed it — the warning is about how the file is made, not about what it does. We report every release to the scanner vendors as a false positive, and the warning fades as installations add up.
Every release is signed by Cerci Ventures GmbH. Windows SmartScreen may still show “Windows protected your PC” on a new release until it has seen enough installations. If you would rather not click through a warning, wait a few days or ask us first — that is a reasonable thing to do and we will not talk you out of it.
Uninstalling
Windows Settings → Apps → Tailwind Trader → Uninstall. It leaves nothing behind that runs. Your account, your rules and your history live on the server, so removing the app does not end your subscription — you do that on your account page.
